This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes work for paid subscriptions to Agent Vault (https://agentcapsule.app). It supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Merchant of record
Paid subscriptions are processed by Creem as merchant of record. Your checkout receipt and payment method charges may appear under Creem or its payment partners. Tax invoices and consumer rights notices may be provided by Creem where applicable. For payment receipt questions, contact Creem support through the link on your receipt first; we will help resolve account access issues at support@agentcapsule.app.
2. Free plan
The Free plan does not charge a fee. No refund applies because no payment is collected.
3. Subscription renewals and cancellation
Pro and Pro Plus subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) until you cancel. When you cancel:
- You keep access to paid features until the end of the current paid period.
- At period end, your account reverts to Free limits unless you resubscribe.
- Canceling does not delete your vault data immediately; you may export recovery prompts before downgrade if you are within Free limits.
Cancel through the Creem customer portal linked from your purchase email, or email us at support@agentcapsule.app with the account email you used to sign up.
4. Refund eligibility
We want you to evaluate Agent Vault fairly. Unless otherwise required by law:
- 14-day satisfaction window: If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and contact us within 14 days of the initial charge, we will request a full refund through Creem if you have used less than 10% of your monthly API call quota and less than 10% of your LLM preview quota for that period.
- Renewal charges: Fees for renewal periods are generally non-refundable once the period has started, except where required by law or where Creem approves a chargeback remedy.
- Annual plans: If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of purchase and have not materially used paid quotas, we will refund the annual fee minus any payment processing costs Creem retains. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable for unused months unless mandated by consumer law.
- Abuse: We may deny refunds for accounts terminated for Terms violations, chargeback fraud, or repeated refund requests on multiple accounts.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@agentcapsule.app with:
- Your account email.
- Approximate purchase date and plan name.
- Reason for the request (optional but helpful).
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are initiated through Creem to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank without contacting us first, we may suspend your account while the dispute is investigated. Please email us so we can resolve billing issues before filing a chargeback.
7. Plan downgrades
Downgrading from Pro Plus to Pro, or from a paid plan to Free, takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused features within an active period unless required by law.
8. Service outages
If a verified platform outage prevents core vault functions (sign-in, save capsule, or export recovery prompt) for more than 48 consecutive hours during your paid period, you may request a prorated credit for that period by emailing support@agentcapsule.app within 30 days of the outage.
9. EU/UK consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. By starting to use paid features immediately after purchase, you may be asked to acknowledge that performance begins before the withdrawal period ends, which can affect withdrawal rights under local law. Contact us for jurisdiction-specific guidance.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued subscriptions after an update are subject to the revised policy.
